Open Source RVA presents:

HOME SWEET HOME WITH OPEN SOURCE RVA Tune in Friday at 2PM when host Don Harrison welcomes William Martin, director of The Valentine, to talk about the historical center’s ongoing Community Conversation series on Richmond Values – the next installment is March 7th. And then host emeritus Chris Dovi returns to have his own community conversation, with political pundits and pals Shaun Kenney, Jason Kenney and Don Mears. It’s the pilot episode of a new political roundtable segment on Open Source RVA called “Scotch & Reason.” We also present another dramatic installment of Curtain Call, the biweekly overview of Richmond’s theater scene produced by the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle. This week, Sifter’s Jerry Williams and Style Weekly’s Claire Boswell review “Violet,” a production of Cadence Theatre Company, and talk with actress Kaelie James about the upcoming Empathy in Action: a Social Justice Theatre Festival on March 11th. THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH SHOW FOR MOST SHOWS, RIGHT? But Melissa Vaughn and Jessee Perry also return with RVA Dirt’s “Quick and Dirty Council Roundup.” Find out what happened during the last Richmond City Council meeting (spoiler alert: people were thanked). You are ALWAYS welcome to stop by Open Source RVA, today at 2PM on WRIR 97.3 FM and http://www.wrir.org. (Photo: The Valentine)
