Tonight, we pay tribute to the late, great Pat DiNizio the lead singer and songwriter of The Smithereens. Pat passed away on December 12 at the age of 62. We’ll play tracks from The Smithereens, Pat solo, and the bands that influenced Pat & The Smithereens including The Flamin’ Groovies, Richie Barrett, The Surfaris, The Outsiders, The Byrds, The Isley Brothers, Iron Butterfly, The Temptations, Scott McKenzie, Santana, The Youngbloods, and much more.
