Generally, leaner DJs (made with flour, water, and yeast) are baked at 400° to 425°. Richer DJs (made with more fat and eggs) are baked at lower temperatures. DJs made with less than 1/2 cup sugar are generally baked at 375° and DJ with more are baked at 350°. A loaf of DJ can bake from 25 to 45 minutes.

I (LJ) will be hosting the Otto Show (Over the Edge of the Pop Narcotic) tonight from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio! It’ll be a pretty eclectic mix with plenty of new music, pop sensibilities, and probably some R.E.M. in there to fit the mold of the Otto Show.
