Cause and Effect presents:

Jaysin Hutchinson joins Noah Page this week on Cause and Effect for a look at the band Ghost, a Satan-worshiping, mask wearing bunch of dudes to help make your mom hate you FOR NO GOOD REASON. We’ll explore the influences of the band Ghost from the vocal styling of Ozzy Osbourne to the theatrics and costume of Kiss.

We’ll also explore topics related to the music of the band, with a special focus on their Church of Satan type shtick. This element of their presentation and vibe has affected their career and trajectory in a lot of ways, leading to lawsuits, and caused them difficulty finding musicians to work with at times. This being the case, we must, of course, talk a little bit about what the Church of Satan and the Satanic Bible even are. And what they’re about.

But mainly we hope to inform a sense of the expansive musical reach of this unique group. Music ranging from Pink Floyd to ABBA to Judas Priest to Kiss to gosh, I can’t even tell you, JUST LISTEN TO IT. It’ll make your windsheild wipers stop working in that highway rain. It’ll give you a sunburn in the wind. It’ll actually just be a pretty good radio show.
