Open Source RVA presents:

HEAR THE ROAR!! On Friday’s edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, it’s all about the Equal Rights Amendment. Our own Krysti Albus hosts a discussion about the struggle to ratify the ERA in the Virginia General Assembly, with guests who are asking tough questions about just how inclusive ERA advocates have been when it comes to women of color: Francesca Leigh Davis, co-host of RVA Dirt’s Municipal Mania on WRIR, and Chelsea Higgs Wise, the co-host of WRIR’s “Women and Politics.” She also presents an audio overview of the Women’s March RVA and documents the voices of those who think that the ratification of the ERA is long overdue. All of that PLUS another exciting edition of Curtain Call, our bi-weekly look at the Richmond theater scene produced by the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle. This week, Jerry Williams features an interview with Bruce Miller, the longtime artistic director of Virginia Repertory Theatre, about his new position at the Chesterfield Cultural Arts Foundation. Then, Jerry, Julinda D. Lewis and Claire Boswell review “Red Velvet” (at Quill Theatre) and “Talk Radio” (at 5th Wall Theatre). TOO MUCH SOURCE?? We think you can handle it. Listen at noon on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio and http://wrir.org.
