The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit/Nighttime Maneuvers presents:
Hey Listeners,
So if you are a regular listener to my show (a fan even), then you know I am a huge film buff. I have seen the trailer / preview several times for a film being released on 6/28 called Yesterday. The film is from director Danny Boyle whose other films include Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire. In his new film he imagines a world in which the Beatles never existed.
So I am taking that thought and taking a look at what the musical landscape would have looked like if the Beatles never existed. So we’ll do a bunch of things, but mostly play a lot of bands so heavily influenced by the Beatles it is hard to imagine they would have ever existed if not for the Beatles.
I think it’s going to be fun – so keep it tuned here.
