Today is Dave Brockie’s birthday … and the day of the unveiling of his memorial in Hollywood Cemetery. Lotsa bandmates and friends were in attendance. And we’ll gather tomorrow at GWAR Bar for a special party / mayhem, as is only befitting. I thought I was gonna be joined on-air tonight by Danielle Stampe (Slymenstra) and Matt Maguire (Sawborg Destructo), but migraines and documentary filming have pre-empted those plans. Oh well, I’ll still play the RVA and punk CDs I brought up with me. And maybe Danielle can make it up before it’s over. Tune in 9-11pm!
