Snap Judgment, hosted by Glynn Washington: Thursday at 2:00 PM
Snap Judgment is the smoking-hot storytelling podcast from WNYC — electrifying audiences everywhere. Raw, intimate and surprising, it’s real life drama that will leave you breathless. Lush soundscapes drop listeners into the heart of the story. It’s storytelling … with a BEAT.
Our mission is to let people wear someone else’s skin. At our best, Snap storytelling engenders empathy for people and communities and circumstances very different than our own. Empathy saves lives. Because hatred cannot exist when we truly know each others’ story. One love.
Before creating Snap Judgment, host and Executive Producer Glynn Washington worked as an educator, diplomat, community activist, actor, political strategist, fist-shaker, mountain-hollerer, and foot stomper.
Glynn composed music for the Kunst Stoff dance performances in San Francisco, rocked live spoken word poetry in Detroit, joined a band in Indonesia, wrote several screenplays, painted a daring series of self portraits and released a blues album. He thinks his stories are best served with cocktails.
