WRIR 97.3 FM Richmond Independent Radio, like most public radio stations, raises the majority of the funding we need for our national and locally-produced programs during our on-air fund drives. As a thank you to our most generous donors, we have an unique premium that benefits not just WRIR but other nonprofits. Your gift of $60 a month (or $360 one time) will benefit a local nonprofit who you believe is doing good things for Richmond. WRIR will grant your chosen nonprofit organization a robust schedule of underwriting announcements, all read on air. This gives the nonprofit much-needed exposure — especially organizations that may not yet have money in their budget to purchase underwriting (though our rates are very affordable.)
