If Music Could Talk - Chutney mix - and samples from 3 feet High and Rising presents:
From Wikipedia:
Chutney – derived from caá¹nÄ« – a term for a class of spicy preparations used as an accompaniment for a main dish. Chutneys usually contain an idiosyncratic but complementary spice and vegetable mix.
Chutney music is a form of music indigenous to the southern Caribbean originating in Trinidad and Tobago, which derives elements from traditional bhojpuri folk songs, soca and Indian filmi songs. The music was created by Indo people whose ancestors were transported to the West Indies as indentured servants and later immigrants, during the 19th century. Chutney music was pioneered by a man named Sundar Popo, also deemed as "The King Of Chutney"
