Because it's snowing out there in Richmond, VA, we believe it is a good idea to bring some sun into your lives by the means of musica latina caliente, or, as we like to call it, hot Latin Soul. Just back from New York City, co-host DJ Pari will test your clave (your rhythm) by playing a fine selection of rare Sala, Son, Latin Jazz, Mambo and Boogaloo record finds from timeless labels like Mericana, Tico, Coco and, of course, Fania. Groove to the music of legends like Tito Puente, Joe Cuba, Mongo Santamaria, Joe Bataan, Eddie Palmieri and underdogs like Arsenio Rodriguez, Tempo 70 or Jose Mangual. Because no matter how you call it or who does it, once you're diggin' it, you too got Latin Soul!
