Party of One: Well What Do You Do…With a Revolution?!!! presents:
There have been about 5 periods in Rock 'n' Roll that you might call a "Revolution"–a time when rock had seemed to have reached it's logical end: stale, dreary pop. And just when you are ready to call time of death, some kids with cheap guitars and lo-fi equipment cast off the shroud and bring it back with a jolt, usually by taking it all back to its roots. Full circle. A revolution indeed.
Tonight we'll spin some sides from those tumultuous times and bear witness to the continual resurrection of Rock 'n' Roll.
