Local performer Josiah Pearsall will welcome all to the library with his "Poetry on Demand Booth." Choose by author, subject, length, time period, or other category and hear great poetry recited live. Bask in an old favorite or discover a new surprise! Free, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the main branch of the Richmond public library on Friday, November4th.


Celebrate the creation of the Shockoe Design District with an inaugural Design Day. Bring the whole family and enjoy food, beverages, live music, designer chats, kids' activities, craft events, raffles, give-aways, and FUN.
