The decade of guilty pleasures. I'm not sure that anyone listened to music that they were particularly proud of. Sure, there were the REM fans and early U2 fans. I guess they could be comfortable in their smug superiority while the rest of us were hoping to hear Ton Loc on the radio in their bedrooms.

You get a little glimpse of me in my teens. I was lucky enough to be born in 1970, so the decades of music in my life are separated in tidy little packages on Ronco collections and playlists.

I hope you enjoy hearing this as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
