Lost Music SaloonLost Music Saloon: January 2, 2012: 5-7 p.m.: Faves of 2011, Pt. 1

Welcome to 2012!  Today's Lost Music Saloon takes a look back at the year in music that was 2011.  I thought it was a very good year for music overall.  Rather than doing a formal countdown of my favorite albums of 2011 this year, I'm going to go with my most-listened-to and most enjoyed songs of the past year, whether or not they appeared on any of my "fave albums of 2011".  I'll do the same again next week.

As always, you can find my playlist for tonight's show by clicking on 'read more' below.  You can also find a list of my 20 favorite albums from 2011 by going to the WRIR homepage at http://www.wrir.org and clicking on the 'read more' link under "The Best of 2011".  Scroll down until you see the Lost Music Saloon entry.  You'll see other DJs' lists there as well.
