“Freddie and Michael’s Collaboration" (Read by: Mike MacKenzie)

In the early 1980s, Freddie Mercury, the vocally gifted singer for Queen, and Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, recorded three songs together at Jackson’s house.
Earlier, Michael had seen Queen perform at the Forum in Los Angeles. He and Freddie became fairly good friends and sometimes went out to dinner together.
Sadly, both their lives were cut short – Freddie dying from AIDS complications in 1991 and Michael from propofol intoxication in 2009. But now, their armies of loyal fans have something to look forward to.
The three songs, “There Must Be More to Life Than This,”  “State of Shock” and “Victory” will be released in 2012. That’ll happen because the Jackson estate has finally given permission to Queen’s musicians Brian May and Roger Taylor to work on the sound recording.
