The Richmond Peace Education Center presents a film showing and tribute on Sunday, September 9. September through April The Modlin Center for the Arts at The University of Richmond, in collaboration with the Firehouse Theatre Project and James River Film Society, present the On Screen/In Person film program. Monthly, the program showcases new independent American films and their respective filmmakers and features a Question & Answer with the filmmaker following each screening. The first Sunday of every month from 1 to 4 pm in the Art Education Center at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is a program called “Open Studio Sundays.” This event is an open studio time where families are invited to make an art project inspired by an art work from the museum’s collection to take home.
