A Party Of OneParty of One:  Here’s to the Bebop, Boogie, & Blues Revue

Today I humbly do my best to pay tribute to Eric E. Stanley, one of the greatest radio DJs Richmond ever had.  He was a true personality; an inspiration to spread the gospel, as it were, of all kinds of American music…for me and probably more than a few other DJs here at WRIR.  If WRIR is a reflection of what RVA sounds like, then RVA sounds a lot like what Eric E. used to play. Our ethos, our whole mission is a direct result of the kind of thinking he kept aive on Richmond's airwaves for 20 years.  Here's to you, Rick Stanley.  Boogie on (gotta go, gotta go!)
