Party of One: So…Why is U2 Famous Again? presents:
So after I heard all the hooplah about the lastest U2 record being forced upon people and after having the latest couple of U2 singles shoved down my throat every time I step in front of a radio NOT tuned to WRIR, and after hearing everyone I know universally pan everything that U2 does, I got to wondering: Why are they famous?
I mean, sure, I LOVE Joshua Tree. I remember when it came out. But I also remember U2 was already a household name when it did. I know the album before it did well, btu was that their first hit record? Didn't they have a couple before that? Well this week I got answers to all my questions as I chose three–count 'em–THREE records of the week.
