Samba to Son: In Honor of Rio-Part I of the Latin Tinge on Over the Edge of the Pop Narcotic
Inspired by the Rio Olympics, for the next two weeks, Over the Edge of the Pop Narcotic is featuring music with that latin tinge. Samba, Son, Cumbia, Tropacalli, a few gringo poseurs and a whole lot more. There are so many great artists from and performing with an eye to the South of the Border, that we will just begin to touch on this huge and sublime musical subject matter.
