Preston (the guy from right before) saves the day by setting up the microphones properly, since Noah Page only has that one shoulder. It’s hard out there for a shrimp. The things he can’t do. Just a one-armed guy. Then it’s all over. I mean: all just getting started!
To help us ring in this momentous occasion, our old friend PT Burnem brings us some of his famous hot tacos. So hot everything tastes like burned stuff cause our tongues are burned. He burned em! True to his name. Who knew that had anything to do with tacos though? Sanji, Vos, This() all rap blindfolded. Even Mr. Burnem steps in and raps with the team, just like in the good ol’ days. Coach batting one round in practice with the boys.
Everyone remembers their favorite made-up episodes that happened, I mean REALLY happened. If you believe in magic, I mean. Like, in a young girl’s heart; how the music can free her whenever it starts. Anyway, Noah Page gets emotional with a special tribute to his hero, Black Liquid, who paved the way for him as a radio personality, and the guys all take turns doing their impressions of Noah Page’s impression of British Black Liquid (which is super weird). Also Noah Page disses Black Liquid for some reason. And then says they’re best friends. Obviously it’s all true. Burnem enlightens us to the animal passions within us, how to unleash them, how he invented his own strange invention designed to produce music. The Griefcase. GOOD GRIEF-CASE, BURNEM. See what I did there? GOOD GRIEF-case? Get it? You get it.
A rousing game of “Can you rap to that?” includes the fellas rapping over Marilyn Manson’s “Dope Show”, the karaoke version of Supertramp’s “Goodbye Stranger”, some of that Mario stuff Noah Page is always on about, and much much more! The gang keeps it heavy on the live performance this go around. It’s a night to celebrate and just have fun. Of course, a little bit of Noah Page’s famous, uncalled for playlist here and there. But we’ll get back into that stuff again someday. They only spun five tracks all night! From there is was ALL LIVE PERFORMANCE. LIVE ON THE RADIO. WHO ELSE DOES THIS STUFF!? And like THIS!? Some of the beats are created and performed live by PT Burnem via the Griefcase, some of the beats are pre-recorded and produced by Sanji. And well-produced. Some of the rap verses are written excellence. Some are improvised freestyle excellence. I’m talking MICROSOFT EXCELlence. See what I did there? Microsoft EXCELleance? Get it? You get it.
And once again, tonight’s cast of unlockable secret characters: VOS, PT BURNEM, THIS (), SANJI, dude and LAURA COATES the hero, some of Sanji’s squad, some dude named Theo who seemed cool, some girl named Jill who never said anything but that’s cool she’s still cool, and of course NOAH PAGE. A small, intimate gathering of friends for the special 1,000,000th episode. Nothing crazy. Not as many crazy party people as you usually expect on the show. BUT THEN WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? Your expectations are what we live to kill dead. Your expectations are ridiculous. We ridicule them. Because: nice expectations, dude. Yeah, really. I’m being sarcastic.
Gosh, what else happened? So much, you guys PT Burnem broke down the physics of the universe for us over Noah Page’s coffee. A rhino. Eminem. Dinosaurs. A cave within a dungeon within a sewer. The trash bags they put on our heads. All remembered fondly.
Plus, the exciting announcement of the upcoming Secret Bonus Level Band. And that’s some kind of live music element to something and then something happens? I don’t know. I’m tired now. It was TOO hype for TOO long.
But anyway, really: It’s one for the thing! The history thing! Books!
