Welcome to the Lost Music Saloon’s “Fave Songs of 2018 (So Far)”. I say “favorite songs”, rather than “best songs”, because there are just so many excellent songs put out every year – – these are just some of my personal faves. And to give an idea of what I sift thru to reach these 30 or so “fave songs”, realize that I’ve done 7 shows worth of “new music” so far this year at an average of 30 songs per show; plus I’ve done another 5 shows where I’ve mixed in about a dozen new songs with other music, so that’s another 60 songs or so. SO…for this show I had to decide on my 30 or so fave songs out of those 270 songs, plus the newest stuff I’ve just heard over the past few weeks. Tough to do, but I love it! Anyway, I hope you find a few gems here today to love as well.
