Today’s boutique features plenty of garage, girl group, psych rock, plus folk and the heavy, arid, wind-swept sounds befitting the music of Shannon and the Clams and Dylan Carlson, respectively.

I’ll be giving away tickets to see Dylan Carlson with Dorthia Cotrell and Eric Benson at the Capital Ale House Music Hall tonight (July 21) and Shannon and the Clams with Big Huge and Paint Fumes at the Broadberry on Wednesday, July 25.
