Louisiana Dance Hall presents:
Just back from 10 days in the Crescent City, and I’m bringing back a bunch of music purchased from the artists at shows, as well as from the famous Louisiana Music Factory store on Frenchmen Street. Many thanks to Talia and Scott the Haberdasher for filling in while I was out of town! While in NOLA I saw many great performances, as well as the second line parade for Dr. John’s funeral procession along Basin Street on the way to St. Louis Cemetery. A tremendous loss for the music world, and especially for New Orleans, but we have one last album of his work to look forward to … RIP, Dr. John!
