Francosonic presents:
Another incredible Richmond Folk Festival is in the books, but the celebration continues at WRIR!
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the music, dance performances, and the wonderful ambiance where cultures of the world intermingled in downtown Richmond this weekend.
A special thanks to Bombino, the humble Nigerian guitar virtuoso who performed with his band this weekend. Although his songs are in Tamasheq, he graciously granted us an interview and shared his views on life in the Sahara. More to follow on Bombino in a future show!
Fêtons le week-end et ce magnifique festival global !
