I have almost nothing to say about Richard Wagner. There has already been so much said about him. I just want to play his music for you. If you want to indulge in it for a while, then you have come to the right place. Let us listen to the opening portions of his operas The Flying Dutchman and Lohengrin, and the grand finale of Siegfried, as well as excerpts from Tristan und Isolde and Götterdämmerung.

Wagner was a complex and controversial man, and one of the great artists in the history of the world. Music was never the same after Wagner.
