Lynch tells us her views of the Coliseum development project (“Navy Hill”) and the RRHA’s controversial five-year plan, and weighs in on topics ranging from schools to governmental transparency to Monroe Park. We also welcome back author Dale Brumfield, who talks about his new book, “Theme Park Babylon” and his upcoming Nov. 6 lecture at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture. And in honor of Halloween, we conjure up Armistead Spottswood — alias Armistead Wellford — the host of WCVE TV’s “Midnight Frights,” which is set for an all-night monster movie marathon on Saturday night/Sunday morning. CHILLING AND THRILLING! That’s the Open Source RVA way. Get your ears detached on Friday at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and http://wrir.org.
