Open Source RVA presents:

YOUR SOURCE FOR LEGENDS! On Friday’s edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, we welcome the legendary Chuck Richardson. The former 5th District Richmond City Council rep is vying for his old job on election day (Nov. 5), a position he held for 18+ years. Richardson talks not only about his controversial past but the legislative successes that, in his view, show he’s the best choice in the race. AND MORE CELEBRITIES! William Martin and Eric Steigleder of The Valentine drop in to talk about the museum’s Nov. 5 Controvery/History event that looks at Richmond’s transportation and parking challenges, and the new exhibit, “#BallotBattle: Richmond’s Social Struggle for Suffrage.” There’s also a new Curtain Call, produced by the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle. This week, Rich Griset, Jerry Williams and Julinda D. Lewis look back at the Artsie awards, and the sold-out success of the recent production of “Rocky Horror Picture Show” at Richmond Triangle Players at the Robert B. Moss Theatre . AND THE LISTENERS SPEAK!! Yes, we answer ALL the letters in the Open Source RVA Mailbag!! (cough). Hear all about it at noon on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio and http://wrir.org.
