Open Source RVA presents:

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE YULELOG! Get a’ blast of warm “Fireplace Radio” with Friday’s festive Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM. Our perennial holiday broadcast features skits, songs and season’s greetings from the Source family and friends. This year, we welcome musicians Saw Black and Andrew Murray of Saw Black and The Toys, who have a brand new album of original holiday tunes, “Christmas in the Background.” We also present a special message from the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle — Jerry Williams, Susie Hirsch Haubenstock. Claire Boswell and Julinda D. Lewis, plus an unexpected announcement from RVA Dirtt’s own Melissa Vaughn as your Aunt Doreen. We also feature archival Christmas readings from former Vice-Mayor Viola Baskerville, and actors DL Hopkins and Scott Wichmann, plus cameos from Parker S Galore and the Party Liberation Front, and Jameson Price of Lobo Marino. And let’s not forget those Open Source RVA Holiday Art Players: Producer Krysti Albus, production assistant Olivia Harrison, Kate Andrews, Chris Dovi, Tina Eshleman, Baylen Forcier, Jesse Johnson, Piet E Jones, and…. Mike MacKenzie. Find out what Santa REALLY wants for Christmas this year. Listen Friday at noon on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio and http://wrir.org.
