Open Source RVA presents:

SOURCE IT!! On Friday’s splashy edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, we welcome Alexsis Rodgers, who is running to become Richmond’s next mayor. We talk to this civic leader and former Ralph Northam adviser about Mayor Levar Stoney’s job performance, her stance on police accountability, and why she feels her progressive leadership is what’s needed for a changing Richmond. We also have a conversation with pioneering Richmond music producer Martin Gary. A brand new compilation on Feel It Records called “Days of Quiet Sun” assembles Gary’s trailblazing independent recordings from Richmond in the ’60s – classic tracks by the Hazards, Barracudas, Bernard Smith & Joker’s Wild and more. Krysti and Don also check in with the Open Source RVA of Earth Two and get an earful. YOU NEED THIS SOURCE! Listen at noon on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio and http://wrir.org.
