River City Limits presents:
Shows That Just Didn’t with Nathan McGlothlin
Noah Page welcomes her guest Nathan McGlothlin, head of the Harding Street Assembly Lab record label and member of the bands honeybrandy and TLVS. Nathan also previously ran Speakertree records, Lynchburg’s only independent record store AND Evening Fog, a radio programme of his OWN design!
Together they’ll present “Shows You Almost Could’ve Gone To But Didn’t Because You Couldn’t Because They Didn’t Actually Happen So That’s Why”, mixing new music by local artists like Alfred. and Jamal Nubi with some regionally touring acts from the DMV who couldn’t perform in Richmond because, well, no one could! And what YOU can do is if you want to play along from home well then you can just sit there and imagine and pretend and think about what it would’ve been like if it hadn’t been like it was.
