Open Source RVA presents:

A WHOLE LOTTA SOURCE! On Friday’s Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM,  Don Harrison talks with Sabrina Gross, who is running for the 3rd district Richmond School Board seat against incumbent  Kenya Gibson. The Virginia Department of Education employee talks about the challenges that face district schools, and explains why she’s the only city candidate so far to earn a campaign contribution from Mayor Levar Stoney. We also have another installment of “The Next 400” as Mike Kemetic — a.k.a. Michael Donovan — presents part two of his profile of the New Era Nation movement, which is working to uplift the African-American community in the age of Black Lives Matter. Then we welcome author and playwright Raymond Goode, whose play, “Through Their Eyes”, will be staged at the Refuge Temple Assembly of Yahweh on Oct. 10. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL!! Melissa Vaughn of RVA Dirt also provides a record-breaking edition of the Quick and Dirty Council Roundup. IT’S YOUR SOURCE FOR SORE EARS! Friday noon on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio and wrir.org.
