THE SOURCE AWAKENS!! On Friday’s expansive edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, we welcome Cat Anthony, the executive director of the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation. She tells Don Harrison how the Virginia Capital Trail is more popular than ever due to the pandemic, and details what it takes to maintain this important scenic hiking and biking path. THEN in another installment of the Next 400, Mike Kemetic is joined by Sheba Williams, the executive director of Nolef Turns, a nonprofit that assists people who have been released from prison. Williams talks about how her organization grew from a support organization to an advocacy force that works with local and state legislators to pass fairer laws. We’ve also got another installment of Curtain Call, produced by the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle. This week, Jerry Williams talks with Tom Width from Swift Creek Mill Theatre and Tracy Coogle from Virginia Repertory Theatre about their festive (virtual) Christmas shows.
