Open Source RVA presents:

THE SOURCE IS YOURS! On Friday’s packed edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Don Harrison talks about casinos  with 5th District Richmond School Board representative Stephanie Rizzi. While Richmond concentrates on which casino project to choose, Rizzi and others are arguing that building any casino in Richmond would be a recipe for disaster. THEN, on a new installment of the Next 400, Mike Kemetic welcomes Demetrius Frazier, the president of Black Men Read, an organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering communities of color by promoting literacy. We also have a brand new edition of Curtain Call, produced by the RIchmond Theatre Critics Circle. This week Julinda D. Lewis, Claire Boswell and Julie Turner review “Fires in the Mirror” at Firehouse Theatre. AND we proudly feature another thrilling, white knuckle installment of the Quick and Dirty Council Roundup, courtesy of RVA Dirt’s Melissa Vaughn. WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS SOURCE!! Find out Friday noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org.
