Open Source RVA presents:

TRY OUR SPECIAL SOURCE! On Friday’s expansive Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, we welcome Richard Walker, who is running against incumbent Jeff Bourne in the Democratic primary election for the 71st District Virginia delegate seat. The well-known activist and founder of Bridging The Gap in VA  talks with host Don Harrison about a wide-range of issues, including Richmond’s proposed casino, workers rights, criminal justice reform, and his environmental justice plan. AND HE’S B-A-A-C-K! The Hustle Season’s Kelli Strawbridge puts on his pundit hat to join Don for a no-riffs-barred discussion about the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s recent series of inductees. Expect a LOT of fan gush over Todd Rundgren and some spirited discourse about Foo Fighters, the Monkees and Toto. We also feature another dramatic edition of Curtain Call, produced by the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle. This week, Jerry Williams interviews Andrew Gall the  writer and director of the world premiere play “Walled In” running at Firehouse Theatre. YOUR SOURCE IS SERVED! Friday noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org.
