Well, now it’s official — the French Quarter Festival has been cancelled too. Rather than despair over this latest pandemic development, let’s dedicate today’s show to performers who WOULD HAVE appeared at the 2021 Jazz & Heritage Festival and French Quarter Festival if this had been a normal year. The best we can do is celebrate the music — and be thankful for all the NOLA and Louisiana artists who have given this country the musical spice not found anywhere else on this planet …
