Open Source RVA presents:

TANNED, RESTED AND READY!! On Friday’s season-opening installment of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, we welcome back author and cultural historian Dale Brumfield. Among other things, the ThroTTle co-founder tells us about his forthcoming book, “Closing the Slaughterhouse,” and fills us in on when we can finally see inside that Lee Monument time capsule. GOING PLACES? We also talk about the Richmond region’s long term transportation plan, Connect RVA 2045, and the calls for final input from citizens. Chet Parsons, director of Transportation at PlanRVA, will fill us in. We’ve also got another exciting edition of Curtain Call, produced by the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle. In this installment, Jerry Williams travels to The Perkinson Center for the Arts & Education to interview Julie Fulcher–Davis, the Artistic Director of the Illuminated Theatre, the center’s resident company. IT’S THE RETURN OF THE SOURCE! Friday noon on WRIR and wrir.org.
