Hey Listeners,
I noticed yesterday that 12/5/21 was the 12th anniversary of the infamous “naked man” Phish show at JPJ in Charlottesville. Have 12 years really gone by that fast. 12 years ago all three of my children still lived at home. I had only been hosting this show for a year. My wife and I had just launched or business and I was still in my forties. Time sure does fly.
We’ll revisit that show and check out the new Oxford American music issue, a great Light in the Attic reissue, some new covers from Jason Isbell and Deep Purple (yes Deep Purple), and we” take jump down three different Get Back inspired rabbit holes – skiffle, Billy Preston, and Felice and Boudleux Bryant’s catalogue.
