Celebrating the life of Dave Van Ronk today on Wide Ear Folk.

Dave Van Ronk was such an important influence on my burgeoning interest in folk music. I was turned onto him way back in the mid 70’s. I only wish I could have been there in The Village when he was rambling around. He was friends with so many important musicians of that era. And no I did not like the Coen brothers movie very loosely based on his life.
