LIGHTS, CAMERA, SOURCE!  On Friday’s cinematic installment of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Dina Weinstein talks to Jamar Billups, Armstrong High School’s teacher of the year. He reveals the secrets of engaging kids in the classroom, and what the biggest challenges are for today’s educators. Don Harrison also discusses the 28th annual James River Film Festival with the James River Film Society’s Michael Jones and Coleman Jennings. Richmond’s big moviethon returns March 31-April 3 with a full slate of cult movies, music documentaries and art films. We also welcome back Jerry Williams, who has a brand new show, Sifter For the Ear, which you can hear on WRIR every  Friday at 11:30AM. “TV Jerry”  talks about his new show and discusses the controversy that caused him to stop reviewing local plays and resign from the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle.
