Wide Ear Folk presents:
Wide Ear Folk is now on 5-7 pm every other Tuesday. Our next show is this Tuesday 1/3.
I’ll pay a tribute to Ian Tyson who recently passed away at 89. Ian was one half of the seminal folk group Ian & Sylvia. They were integral to the burgeoning folk scene in Greenwich Village back in the sixties. His song Four Strong Winds is his most well known. I’ll play a few that many didn’t realize was written by him including the tune Someday Soon made famous by Judy Collins. The next Wide Ear will be on the 17th of January. Tune in at 97.3 FM or stream at www.wrir.org
