Lashrecse Aird

Lashrecse is a mom, higher education professional, former Virginia Delegate, and candidate for Virginia Senate in District 13. Growing up, Lashrecse faced the difficult realities of poverty. Through hard work, she worked her way through college and went on to become the youngest woman ever elected to the House of Delegates. As a legislator, Lashrecse was a champion for reproductive freedoms, economic equality, and social justice reform. During her time in office, Lashrecse earned a reputation as an effective leader, who was able to build coalitions with her fellow lawmakers to deliver real results for her constituents. She currently resides in Petersburg with her husband, her two boys, and their dog.
