Paul’s Boutique/Pan-Galactic Brunch presents:

Today’s Boutique presents the Sire Records story, a roughly chronological exploration of the early day and glory days of the record label co-founded by Seymour Stein along with Richard Gottehrer in 1968. Stein passed away this past week at age 80. As an independent label, Sire released some of the earliest punk recordings starting with Ramones’ debut in 1976. Gobbled up by Warner Bros in 1978, Sire continued to release some of the best and most influential music of the 1970’s and 1980’s.

Tune in from 11am-1pm for some classics and surprises!
