THE SOURCE, OF COURSE! On Friday’s rousing edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Don Harrison talks with members of the Richmond band, Heartracer: Chris Cosby, Chip Cosby and Wes Tatum. Among other things, the guys discuss their brand new release, “The Feel,” and explain why it’s hard for a unit with an epic 80s sound to find venues to play. We also present a rebroadcast of Dina Weinstein’s look at the exhibit and documentary, “Beyond Valor.” It explores the history of the U.S. Colored Troops. Our guests are filmmakers and staff from the American Civil War Museum, Alliyah Harrison, Oliver Mendoza and John Dixon.
