Open Source RVA presents:
A GROUNDHOG-WORTHY SOURCE! On Friday’s revealing edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Dina Weinstein speaks with actress Katrinah Carol Lewis and Firehouse Theatre artistic director Nathaniel Shaw about the Firehouse’s upcoming world premiere of “Memories Of Overdevelopment” by Carded Svich, opening Feb. 7. This provocative play is billed as “a rebellious look at where we’ve been and where we are right now.” AND Don Harrison has a conversation with Stacy Brinkley, the President and CEO of The Doorways, the largest donation-based lodging facility in the country serving hospital patients and their families. The Doorways is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with an open house on Feb. 7, and, among other things, Brinkley tells us all about the organization’s current fundraising campaign to find a new home. THE SHADOW KNOWS! Come out of that hole at noon on WRIR 97.3FM and wrir.org.
Playlist temporarily unavailable.
