Midtown Swing presents:
Hi! This is a special episode of Midtown Swing with a guest host, Sean.
I’m going to be playing a mixture of songs in the two halves. The first half is primarily 1970s-1990s long songs that eat up a large chunk of time. In the second half we will primarily be shifting to recordings from 78s with some mixture of public domain sound recordings and other older stuff! There is more connective tissue in the second half.
If you enjoy what you hear tonight then be on the look-out for more from me with my upcoming show, The Talking Machine, which will focus on those 78s and public domain sound recordings.
Special thanks to DJ Carl for many of these 78s recordings.
