Club Unity no. 119 WRIR Fundraiser 2/7 @ Cobra Cabana
Since opening in April 2023, MADRVA’s Meadowbridge Community Market has served over 200 families a week and distributed more than 450,000 pounds of food & supplies! Now, we’re raising $90,000 to purchase the building and secure the future of this vital community resource. Help us secure our chance to be truly independent from a landlord. We’re excited to continue organizing mutual aid in RVA for years to come.
After 20 years of living in the basement and subsequently the upstairs of the Camel, WRIR has outgrown the space and is moving to Shockoe Bottom! As of September 2025, we will be moving into our new home at 1806 E Main St., but we need your help! In order to fulfil our mission of being your local community radio station for ALL, we want to build our new home to be fully ADA compliant! This is expensive, so we’re launching a capital campaign and will be organizing a ton of fundraisers! We can’t wait to have an elevator, accessible studios, bathrooms and more! Join us in celebrating this upgrade for Richmond.
