Novel Film (1st & 3rd)/The Talking Machine (2nd & 4th) presents:
Welcome to The Talking Machine! This is a show focusing on the era of recorded music that was largely dominated by 78s. In that focus there will be specific attention paid to public domain sound recordings and audios. I hope to bring context and connections to these songs as well and share my love for the public domain with you.
On today’s show we have a selection of songs focused on Valentine’s Day. Ranging from out right love songs to songs of woe and longing, I hope we can find something for everyone.
This post is published under a CC0 Waiver and is dedicated to the public domain. The whole broadcast of this program is also dedicated to the public domain in as far as it is not infringing upon existing copyrights.
