Hi-ho, Loyal Glandies! I have been quite dour and lackadaisical these past few months, dropping off pre-recorded 2 hour chunks for y’all to listen to. Despite the occasional high quality of these playlists, the pre-recorded-ness of those episodes fails to deliver on my goal in starting this show in the first place. I, DJ Gawk, wanted (and still want) to deliver you a visceral experience!
When I proposed this show to WRIR, I said of my interstitial commentary that it would be “like it’s just you and me” and while I cannot promise no pre-recorded episodes in the future, as I am a wandering human who does go out of town on occasion, today is the day that I return to that intimate immediacy.
