Rooted in the genre’s deep grooves, Flying Start explores how funk’s rhythms flow through soul, jazz, and boogie, classic and party breaks, as well as a variety of house, Afrobeat, hip-hop, reggae, Latin, and Brazilian music. Each episode highlights the funkier side of these styles, blending classic tracks with fresh discoveries to showcase funk’s transformative reach. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a new listener, Flying Start offers an energetic dive into the beats and spirit that have kept funk alive across decades and genres.
